Waiting....

This lovely couple asked me to take maternity pictures of them. I took their engagement pictures 4 1/2 years ago, so it was extra special. There is something so magical about waiting to be a parent, especially for the first time. This couple is no exception. What I loved the most is the amount of love visible between the two of them. With their jobs, they do not often get to look adoringly into each others eyes. However, on this afternoon I could feel the love they share for each other and this little one. I can't wait to give you the rest of these and meet the little guy when he arrives!

This is one of my favorites. Her hubby was making faces or doing something silly, and she just could not help but laugh.

She is a horse lover and got her little man his first set of spurs. I just wonder how long it will be before he is put on a real horse!

As I was taking pictures of these two, I asked them to look down at her belly. Her hubby would look down, but would sneak these looks at her. It was so natural and full of love. Just so sweet.

It was a gorgeous afternoon and the sun was saying hi through these trees. Thank you for stepping outside for some of these shots. Look at the beautiful belly.

Love this!

We had to get some shots of the whole family before little man arrives.

Again, just so much love and excitement for what is to come.

I just have so many favorites from this session. This was such a fun shoot for me. She and I became friends when I was pregnant with my first and it is so special to see her experience this. I know the adventure will be starting very soon. Thank you for letting me capture these moments. I can not wait work on the rest and give you the disk. I hope you like them and that little man comes soon for you!

Love and Innocence

There is something so pure about a mother-to-be. No matter how a child comes into the world, there is such anticipation, love and excitement before the child is born. I just love to take maternity pictures. I had a wonderful time taking this mom's pictures. Her son was in a great mood and kept saying "cheese" for me. It was a really nice morning and I am in love with these pictures. They are such a loving family, I can't wait to meet their new little one!

I loved that the Christmas tree was up, so did Robby! It was fun to get pictures with such holiday spirit.

A family all saying hello to their newest member to-be

She was standing in front of the tree and the Joy ornament just jumped out at me. I could not have planned it better if I tried. I just love this one.

The whole family

The baby was moving quite a bit at this point, I am thinking he liked the attention! It was such a joy to take these pictures. Thank you for letting me be a part of this special and magical time.

Three great kids

I had the pleasure of taking these cute kids pictures. They had a bunch of fun at the park. We guided them to locations, but tried to just let them be themselves. It was fun for me. These are some of my favorites, though it was hard to choose!
"S" climbed up here to look at the ducks and luckily her brothers were happy to join her. Three happy, smiling kids all looking in the same direction!
I love how the boys are in the same position here. The facination for the day was ducks, birds and water. It kept their attention fairly well.
She wanted to feed the ducks her snack of Cheerios, so cute!
What a beautiful family

There is not much else like the love of a daddy and daughter.

Mom really wanted a picture of the two boys together, they must have known that because they both looked at the very end. Making mommy happy!

It was such fun to shoot this family. Thank you for the opportunity again this year. There are lots more pictures. I can't wait to give you the disk!

Thankful

There is so much to be thankful for today and everyday. I am very thankful that both my parents and hubby's parents live close by and the kids get to see them often. My parents asked me to take some pictures of them with the kids for Christmas cards. I had so much fun taking these. They were extra special to me and I know I will treasure them for a long time. Thank you for loving me and my children so much. I hope you like these pictures as much as I do.

The ducks were a big hit with both kids.

Thank you for asking me to take these and for walking around the lake. It was a fun time for all of us.

Love these...

I had the pleasure of taking this families pictures over the weekend. Our girls have grown up together since aobut 9 months old. It was nice to have her parents join in as well. The session went so easily. "C" had fun taking some pictures and then playing, while little "L" is just a doll. They are both little angels. Thank you for giving me the opportunity to capture these moments for you. There are more, but these are some of my favorites....
Beautiful three generations
Love "C" in this one!

Such beautiful eyes
Smiling up at daddy.

They are such a beautiful family

She loved these cement shapes. It was a nice break to play instead of having to "pose"

She loved being in this "duck foot"! I just love the imagination.

Sisterly love!
