My time out

I decided that I needed a "time out" yesterday from my to-do lists. The perfect answer was to go to the park, feed the ducks and spin in a new skirt. It was a great escape for the three of us. I take a lot of pictures of my kids while they are doing stuff around the house or out and about. I don't often go out and just take pictures of them. It was a perfect opportunity to just be with them and see what the camera captured. I think these are some of my favorites I have taken of them in a long time. These two bring me more joy and love than I ever thought possible...
She can get so deep in thought sometimes, I love what she thinks about and shares with me.
Is there anything better than wearing a new skirt and just spinning until you fall down!?!

Lately, it has been hard to get pictures of the two of them together. They enjoy running in opposite directions. This time they were running in the same direction towards me!
Anyone who has spent 5 minutes with this little boy realizes that he falls down constantly. He tries SO hard to keep up with his big sister that he just falls down. This is a pose he is in quite often picking himself up. I know before long he will have his balance and won't trip over his feet as much. Moments like this make me stop and cherish the stage he is at now.
More spinning! He could not quite figure out what she was doing. As soon as he tried it...you guessed it...he fell down!
Running down the hill is SO MUCH FUN!

My growing boy

These two pictures just capture my heart. I love these two kids and enjoyed my afternoon with them so much. It was a great reminder for me that we just need to stop sometimes and just BE.

Precious boys

I had SO much fun taking these pictures. I have been taking pictures for this friend since her first son turned one. Now, her second son is 6 months and her older son is almost 3 1/2. They are such an easy going, fun loving, amazing family. This shoot was for Bryce's 6 month pictures. I could not resist taking some of Austin and the three of them. It is not too often that us moms get pictures with our children. I had a hard time choosing which pictures to put up here, I am loving so many of them. Heather, hope you enjoy. I can not wait to get the disk to you.

This little boy just loves to smile. He has something about him that makes me want to smile too. He is just precious!

Looking at his momma.

I could not resist taking pictures of Austin. This location was perfect for him because there was lots of water. We "saw" tons of fish playing.

Brothers, yet momma is still there to support them. I love that her hand is in the background of this picture.

A wonderful mom and two boys being themselves!

I just love how this little guy smiles and melts hearts.

Thank you Heather for having me document the lives of your family. It is so amazing to see them grow into such great kids. I am so happy with how the pictures turned out. I am trying to keep some as a surprise for you! I am so in love with this location now too! I appreciate you being my guinea pigs. Hope you like them.
