A fun family

What a family I got to capture yesterday. They are beautiful people, both inside and out. It was especially fun since the kids reminded me so much of my own. Such energy and fun! The girls were running all over, climbing trees and enjoying everything they saw. Their adorable little man was quietly watching around him, playing with the water, watching the ducks and finally realizing he could run and be himself. I have so many more images to share....but I want to keep some a surprise. I really enjoyed taking these and spending part of the morning with you. Courtney, I hope you like the preview....trust me there are many more to come!
Aren't they just picture perfect!
They are such wonderful sisters, he did not really want to look for this one....so let's grab his head a little bit! So cute

A dad with his girls
They were such a fun family, up for anything
A bond between a mother and son is such a special one. He is her little boy and it is so visible in some of the pictures.
There is not much better in this world than a kiss on the cheek from your daughter. His smile is just so sweet in this one.

Such adventurous spirits these girls are! It did not matter they were in nice dresses and flip-flops, climbing trees and jumping off stairs...no problem!

Love this of her in the tree. If I tried to plan this shot, I could not have.

He was carefully touching the water, just figuring out the world. Such a handsome boy

Thank you guys for sharing your morning with me. I really did enjoy our time together. I can not wait to finish working on the images and get the disk to you!

A special project

My mom asked me for help doing a special project for my dad for either his birthday or for Father's Day. He loves trains. He is currently in the process of building a custom train table for his growing collection of trains. She wanted to do a photo collage of train pictures for the "train room". I am happy to help her. The kids and I met them at the train park yesterday to try to get some pictures. Luckily I always have my camera, so my dad was not wondering what I was doing. So...here are some of the shots. I typically do not take abstract pictures of objects, but this was fun. Her thought was to capture pieces of the trains, keep just enough to know what it might be. Hope you like the first attempt Mom! :) I put up all of them in black and white, I just love the crispness of the images

Critter is getting really attached to his Papa. I love it. I know my dad can not wait to teach him how to play golf and show him all of his trains!

I thought this one was cool with the crossing arm and the train going behind it.

I had to end with a picture of the kids with my parents. It was a great afternoon!

15 months

Our little man turned 15 months on the 8th. I wanted to get some pictures to really capture what he is doing right now. I think these do just that. He has grown up so much over these last 3 months. He is becoming more daring and adventurous like his sister, yet he still has the laid back attitude. Can't wait to see what the future holds for you my man!
Pretending to be serious, he gives this look usually right before he smiles
He was flirting with a friend of mine here.

"Mom, I had fun climbing this rock. Now, I will take a little break"

He (and his sister) have these beautiful pouty lips. I just love them!

We have still been seeing this pose from him lots lately. In 3 months he grew an inch and a half and gained almost 3 pounds. No wonder he has been tripping over his feet. Plus, his feet have grown almost a size again!

I love that he is getting so big, yet still shows he is young. He still gets up just like this. I am going to miss this pose when he grows up.

The simple things still mesmerize him. He was just watching the wind blow through the trees. Such amazement and wonder on his face.
I have been taking the time lately to capture more of my own kids and what they do everyday. I want to remember all these little moments that fade so quickly. I know I captured my man this day.
