A great family...

I had the pleasure of spending time with this beautiful family this past Saturday. Luckily, they were flexible on the location of our photo session. The first park we tried to go to had a huge Holiday Festival and run going on. Luckily there are so many beautiful places to go in the area, we were able to change! Thanks G Family for being flexible!
It was a lovely time capturing the personalities of their beautiful girls. Enjoy these pictures, there are quite a few more that I am keeping as a surprise!

The funny thing about some of the pictures is not being able to see what is going on behind me! Their mom was running around to get the girls to smile. I wish I could have had two cameras!

Thank you G Family for having me capture these moments. I can't wait for you to see the rest of the images. Enjoy these for now!

Fun in the cold...

I had the pleasure of spending a chilly late afternoon with this family. I am glad we had planned on Sunday instead of Saturday, we only had the cold and not the rain. I love when I get to see kids grow up. The last time I had taken their pictures, they were waiting for their daughter's arrival! It is always neat to take pictures of kids I know and see their personalities come across in the pictures. M and family, enjoy these. There are a ton more, I will get them to you really soon.
Hard to tell they were standing in slightly muddy grass!
This smiling girl was not in the mood to smile for me while my camera was in my hand. Luckily, we got a few shots. I wish we could have had video of what we were doing to get the smiles though...bells, noises, you name it! But, it worked!
A bubble machine was a perfect distraction for the pent up energy. Nothing like a bubble break to make a child smile!

I had such a great time with this family. It is amazing to see these kids grow up. M, I will get them to you as soon as I can. :)

A great family...

I got to hang out with this wonderful family this past Saturday. We have known each other for years, but this was the first time I have taken their pictures. I was pretty impressed they made it for our session. Both girls had been sick all week, then the parents got sick, then my friend woke up with a migraine! The pictures sure did not show it! T and family, I hope you like these. There are plenty more, but I like to keep some for a surprise...
Say "Fashion" to this girl and she will pose! It was adorable...but I had the word Fashion in my head the rest of the day :)
The "Fashion" girls :)
The girls thought it would be a good idea for mom and dad to do the love hearts.

Thank you T Family for spending the morning with me. It was so much fun to interact with you and capture these moments. Enjoy!

Catching up...

I had this session back in October, but didn't post it until now for some reason! This is another one of my families I get to watch grow each year. The first year I took their pictures the little girl was not even one year old yet! That is crazy. It is so much fun to see the kids grow each year.

Gotta love the grandparent and kids picture

I am always up for anything during a photo session. So...when they said "let's jump in the tree" why not! It is their "family tree" :)

With all the girls around...these two need to stick together...

I can't wait to see how the kids grow next year! It is always a great time chasing the kids around the Preserve.

Another favorite family...

I was able to spend time with another one of my "regular" families. I have been taking their pictures since their older daughter was about 2 or 3! It is amazing how long we have known each other. I look forward to this session each year, much like I do with all my "regulars". I loved the new setting for their pictures. M and Family, I hope you like these. As always, there are plenty more!

We figured out pretty quickly that all we had to say was "Nutcracker" to make this gal smile! Needless to say, "Nutcracker" was in my head the rest of the day!

I am amazed that this little gal and my daughter have known each other since before they were 1 year old. Now, they are in 1st grade and growing up too fast! I love that we still know each other. It is so neat to watch her grow up from behind the camera :)

I have no idea what their dad was doing behind me to get the smiles...but it worked! They were cracking up at him!

One of my favorite pictures to get is grandparents with their grandkids. It is such a special relationship.

M and Family, thank you for allowing me to capture these moments for you once again this year. I always love our time together. Enjoy these and I will get them to you really soon!

Love this family...

I love the chance to spend time with friends during this crazy time of year. It makes me even happier to meet them and capture their families! I got to hang out with our great friends this past weekend and take their family pictures. I also LOVE it when I get to take maternity pictures and then take family pictures later on. It is so much fun.

P & N, hope you like these. There are more...but did not want to put everything up here! Loved shooting your pictures here...you were right!

Isn't he just the most adorable little guy! He missed his nap and we still got lots of smiles from him. Love it when the dad is making a fool of himself to get the smiles...but it worked! :)

Thank you P & N for asking me to take these. I loved spending time with you guys (as always). Enjoy and I will get you the rest really soon.

A creative family...

I absolutely LOVE sessions with this family. I have been working with them for years now, since before their daughter was born! I look forward to their session each year. It is so much fun since both of them are super creative. I can see in their eyes when they have an idea for a background. We often come up with the same ideas, and I love it! I had a really hard time narrowing down my favorites to put up here. There are so many I really, really love! Of course I am keeping a bunch as a surprise. But, L Family...enjoy! :)

We usually are at the same location, but change things up a bit. Last year we tried to take pictures by the green foliage near the end of the session. That didn't work as well...so we started there this year. Much better idea!

This sweetheart and my son are good friends. It is so much fun to capture her personality. She was a complete ham for me, and I loved it!

I can not believe how much this guy has grown up. He is such a sweet kid and as creative and kind as his parents!

This is what happens when a 3 year old is done with pictures :) Turned out really cute though. She was done for the moment and was not about to sit up!

Thank you L Family for a wonderful morning. It is always so much fun hanging out with you and the kids. Enjoy these, there are quite a few more!
