A precious 3 month old...

I have the joy over the next 9 months to capture this little girl growing! I was so excited last November to see her as a newborn, and here she is already at 3 months old! I am AMAZED at babies and how quick they grow and change. Luckily we planned on being indoors, since it was WINDY, rainy and cold. We will try for an outdoor shoot at 6 months.
L family (and friends), I hope you enjoy these. I just started working on them, but could not resist these ones. There are of course more and some fun editing....but I like to hold some surprises for when you get your disk! Enjoy....
I loved that we got this bear for her to take a picture with. Her big brother gave it to her and we have some images from her newborn shoot with it. Hopefully we can take pictures of her with the same special bear for each shoot and see how she grows! Plus, I love the fact that it looks like she is hugging the bear with her arm :)
We were trying to capture similar images to her big brother's early pictures. She was not too sure of this one, but we got it!

The amazing duo...

There is something special about a mother and daughter....

This is one of my absolute favorite images. I can not wait to play with it during editing! What a beautiful little girl!

A little girl has a way of wrapping herself around her daddy's heart like nothing else can!

Smiles for mommy!

There is something so sweet capturing a little one "talking". The way they coo and "talk" changes so quickly. It is almost hard to remember this face as they get older. I just love it!

Thank you L family for letting me be a part of the growth of this precious girl. I can not wait to see what she is doing in 3 months. You have a very special family! Hope you enjoyed the sneak peeks :)

A Valentine Project

It has been awhile since I have picked up my camera for anything other than quick shots of the kids. It felt like about time to do something creative. Hubby and I do not usually exchange big gifts for Valentine's Day. I saw an article in the paper last Sunday with this idea....so I figured why not give it a try. I found some verses and poems which said something to me and am going to blow one of these up for Hubby. I like that it is personal...yet inexpensive!

This last one is my favorite. This is one of the readings from our wedding....

It feels good to get my camera back in my hands. Hopefully there will be more images coming soon!
