A wonderful family...

I had the pleasure this past weekend to meet this wonderful family. It was a perfect morning to be outside taking pictures. I was amazed at how many other people had the same idea this same morning. Luckily, the park was large and we could get all the shots we wanted! Once again, this is just a small selection of some of my favorite shots. There are quite a few more, but I like my surprises!

A sweet way to spend a morning...

I don't know if there is a better way to spend the morning with a newborn and her big brother. This was such a nice session. It was full of surprises, energy, and beautiful images. It was one of those sessions where I just could not stop taking pictures. This is just a SMALL selection of what I captured this morning. K and family/friends, I hope you like these....there are plenty more where these came from!

This particular image will hold such a lasting memory. I have it of my kids and I look at the picture and then the size they are now, and am just amazed. Something simple is so powerful!

Couldn't forget about Big Brother! I tried to make him feel special during the morning as well. Such a sweet 5 year old :)

Precious baby girl....looks like a baby doll! She was only 1 week old and such a sweet girl. She of course did what all newborns do....slept when we wanted her awake and was awake when we wanted her sleeping....but no matter what she was adorable.

The love between these two is already so clear...

Two precious girls...and the rest of their family...

Once again, I was able to spend some precious time with this family. I have known this "little" girl since she was about 6 months old. She and my daughter grew up together in playgroup. It is always one of my favorite sessions during the holidays. I just love getting together with this lovely group. Even though....I love getting together with all my clients :) That is just how much I love capturing families, especially this time of year!

We had a nice relaxing morning at Gran's house. I hope we captured all the images you guys wanted. Here is just a little preview, as always there are quite a few more I am keeping for a surprise :)

Aren't these two just the more adorable girls! They are so sweet.

I love this one of C. She was dancing around the flowers like a fairy. The progression of pictures is so adorable. She was really comfortable in front of the camera this particular morning, that is for sure!

My friend's beautiful parents. I sometimes think it is harder for adults to be comfortable in front of the camera than kids! It was so nice to get this picture of them both smiling and laughing...probably at something the girls were doing.

Little Miss L. She was an adventurous girl who loved to play in the water this morning. Nothing like adventure while in your Christmas clothes!

Such a sweet family...

After everything was done, my camera put away, and candy in the girls hands....they hopped on the small organ. They were both playing and practicing. It was just so sweet. They look like they are concentrating so hard here. Music is an important part of this families lives, and I just love what this picture shows.

A fun family...

I had the pleasure this past weekend to spend time with this lovely family. I have known them for years. This was the first time I got to get behind my camera with them. It was a fun morning. The kids all have such different personalities. It was such a great experience for me to wander this park with them and let the kids lead where they wanted. They each got to pick where they wanted their individual pictures. We got fun pictures, we had some sad ones, some silly ones, and lots of great ones! I hope you guys like them as much as I do. There are plenty more where these came from....I just have to keep some surprises :)

This was near the end of the session. The kids were almost done with pictures by this point. But...something about this one is so sweet. Each of the kids is smiling, but is acting just like a little different.

Something so nice about getting a picture of a father and son.

But then, a mother and her daughters is just as sweet!

I had so much fun getting behind my camera for this session. It was great to see the kids find the place they wanted for their picture and have them feel a part of the day. I hope it was not too painful for them! I know I just had a great morning. Enjoy! :)

One of my favorite kids...

I love taking pictures of this family. I have been taking their pictures since this little boy turned one....and these are his 5 year pictures! It is always so much fun since they are up for new places or any crazy ideas either of us have. Plus, we are good friends. I loved when she told me that A asked when I was taking his pictures for his birthday! It was a fun time. Her sister met us and we got pictures of pretty much everyone. Hope you guys like them. There are plenty more...but I had to keep some a surprise!

I loved in this one he was playing with his shoe. For some reason he kept doing that all morning and I love that he is playing with his shoe while I am trying to take his picture :)
Not much beats a momma with her boys!

These boys love anything to do with nature, dinosaurs or Transformers. This lake was a rather large hit with them. The simplicity of a big brother and little brother sharing a moment is precious to me...

The cousins....they thought we were a little crazy....can you tell by the looks on their faces? There is an adorable one with them smiling...but I need to keep some surprises!

I got to take pictures of this little guy when he was in his momma's belly last October. It was a joy to take his pictures this year! Once he starts to smile, there is no stopping him. He is just precious...

Happy 5th Birthday A! It is always a joy to capture you as you grow up. Hope you all like the pictures. It was fun and can not wait to get you the rest of the pictures! :)

Getting back behind the camera...

It has been awhile dear camera of mine since we have done much work together! I got to meet up with this wonderful family yesterday to capture their family. It was so much fun and very deja vu! We met at the same location about 4 years ago and had a very similar shoot. It was adorable that their son remembered each location we were at before and mentioned it when we went to the same spot this time. I just loved spending part of my morning with this family. They are fun and capturing them with my camera felt easy. There are SO many images I am in love with, so I just chose some of my favorites here! I hope you guys like them :)

This brother and sister pair are so adorable. They feed off of each other and love each other so much. He is so protective of her and she wants to do everything he does. I loved it!

I do not know what other things melt my heart as much as a father and daughter....

Isn't she just the most precious! Her personality was so easy to see in these images. She is full of life, laughter and love for her family.

I just love her sweet curiosity. Plus the reflection of her just gets me...

That's right, a mother son picture melts my heart as much as a father daughter!
